The phrase "nutrition club" throws people. It sounds like there's a membership, a sign-up, or some kind of commitment at the door. There isn't. Here's what actually happens.
You just walk in
There's no membership required to order, no sign-up sheet, and nothing you need to join. It's a counter. You walk in, you order a drink, you pay, you leave โ or you sit down, which plenty of people do.
Nebraska City Nutrition has been on Central Ave since 2015, and a good share of the people at the counter on any given morning have been coming for years. That's the part that surprises first-timers: it's a regulars' place.
You don't need to know the menu
Loaded teas, shakes, protein bowls, protein waffles, protein donuts โ if none of that means anything to you yet, say so. "I've never been here, what do people usually get?" is asked several times a day and it is not an inconvenience.
Tell them whether you want something cold and refreshing or something filling, and that narrows it down immediately.
Timing your first visit
Mornings are busiest, which is also when it's most fun โ that's when the regulars are in. If you'd rather have a quieter first visit and time to ask questions, the middle of the afternoon is calmer.
Doors open at 6:30 AM Monday through Friday and 7:00 AM on Saturday. Closed Sunday. The shop is at 618 Central Ave.
